Also in the vicinity is Arley
Hall situated. When I visited it in 1994 there where great hopes for the
future in garden and parkland. One may wonder if they are fulfilled?
There were great possibilities and very much to see as it was. The long
herbaceous border - The Alcove Walk - was laid out in 1846 and said to be the
earliest of its kind in England |
