Rosa'Mme Plantier' and 'Rosa Mundi'

The path stretches from the lane by the sea-shore 85m along the southeast boundary to the street on the other side of the garden . The "rose-path" proper starts when you have passed the house into the back-garden area. It has a wooden fence to the neighbours and pergola posts on the other side of the path. I also grow some Clematis there and lots of different perennials such as Astilbe, Geranium, Campanula and bulbs in springtime

This shrub is in Sweden called “the barbed wire” rose. I used it on the slope beside the entrance to the basement, and it was very effective against unwanted traffic!
